We're now on the fourth quarter of the year and 2015 is soon to end. Two more months to go and we'll say hello to 2016. But before the year ends, let's go back and check the best artists for the past 16 years, who have crafted their own spot of success and won titles in the Grammy Award. Where are they now? Of course, after decades in the limelight, some of these people are enjoying their personal lives. Some may be just around and busy with a business. Others may still be recording their albums and building a stronger career.
Started in the year 2000, when she beat Britney Spears and gained the Best New Artist Award, Christina Aguilera has released 6 albums that sell more than 50 million copies around the world. She was nominated in the Golden Glove after starring at the musical movie, Burlesque. Aguilera also became one of the judges of The Voice.
Banging the singing world for almost 14 years, Shelby Lynne had her big break right after the release of her album, " I am Shelby Lynne". Started in the year 2001, Shelby releases 7 more albums after winning the Grammy. She also starred in the "Walk the Line" as Johnny Casha's mother. Ultimately, she begins her personal record label.

She has released her most popular album"The Fall", which features her reuniting with Ravi Shankar, her estranged Father. Her songs also talk about her breakup with Lee Alexander, her long- time boyfriend. Jones has released 4 more albums during her times.
EvanescenceEvanescence "Bring Me to Life" won the Best Hard Rock Performance at the Grammys in 2004. The group was once again nominated in the year 2005 and 2008. "The Open Door", Evanescence second album, earned double platinum.
Maroon 5 have sold over 27 million album copies all over the world. Adam Levine and members of Maroon 5 made it on top on the Billboard Hot 100 list thrice. One of their best-selling hit, "Moves Like Jagger", sells more than 14 million copies.
John Legend, singer- songwriter" takes home three Grammy with her debut song, "Get Lifted". He also released four more albums after the success of his debut single in 2013. This year, Legend's "Love in the Future" is nominated for the Best R&B album.
Carrie Underwood won the "Best New Artist Award" in 2007. She also earned six more Grammys and remained to be the Country Music Queen. The Season 4 American Idol Winner has hit the #1 in the Country Music Chart many times.
